Special Orders - Unreliable
I gave Peterson Office Supply a great review a couple of weeks ago. Different story today. Last month when wanting giant post-it notes for a flip chart and now when needing a cartridge for my HP Deskjet they have been unable to have them in when they said they would. The customer service was indifferent today - not so much as an "I apologize". Having been asked to prepay, always bothers me, I asked for a credit to my card. The first suggestion was that they would call me when it was in to get me card number to issue the credit. I insisted that it be done today. If it's not in stock I'm going to have to go to Office Depot.

Thanks for the generous service
I just had the best experience. I went to Peterson Office Supply looking for some specialty paper. They had some on the sale rack that might work. I was a little hesitant to buy a whole ream without trying it out. So, the woman working saw my hesitation and said, "Take it it's FREE". Yes, it had been around awhile and was on the sale rack and what I love is that the owner has empowered the employees to think and act with generosity. I'm a Peterson Office Supply FAN!

Local Office Supply Store
Albeit small, this store is willing to go the extra mile in customer service. When I found they had a limited supply of what I was looking for, they were more than willing to accommodate. I even got to help them place their next order by going through the catalog and noting what I liked. They assured they'd even call when the supplies arrived. This is what small and local is all about.

Thank You for the Fast Turn Around
I realize I can get my office stuff most likely for less at Office Depot but I really feel good about supporting this long-time mom and pop business. Plus they always work so hard to get what I need in right away. It's worth the wait knowing that I'm going to get what I need as well as support buying local.
